Wow, another blessing today and yesterday!! We have been blessed by a family in our church with a gift to go towards our adoption process, and today we received a very special letter from Shaohannah's Hope that they are excited about our adoption and we will receive a special gift from them as well. God is so faithful and continues to show me that He is in control of ALL things, big and small. Our kids are getting so, so excited about their new sibling(s). Our family is so blessed and thankful that God is walking with us each step of the way in our adoption.
I am also so very Thankful for all of the Gladney staff that works so hard for each of the families adopting. They are true servants of the Lord for all the work that they do and I want to Thank them for all the things they do. It is not just a job to them, but there heart is in it along with ours as we wait. What a ministry, May God continue to bless each of them as they find homes for these precious children!!

Back to the Normal Routine of Things
Wow, spring break flew right by and now we are getting back to the normal routine around our house. Trying to get caught up on some paperwork to get mailed out today. The weather has been beautiful, but they say it is about to get really cold again with some snow. I know some people around the country have lot's of snow! It is almost April and Joe has a birthday coming up. I will try to get some pictures posted from our spring break jump-n-jive adventure soon. Blessings to all!

A Crazy Week
Hello
What a crazy week of spring break this has been. Some disappointments, but also some great opportunities and learning experiences. The week of spring break started out by Joe being gone to do a funeral for a church member up in Missouri, long trip for him, but what an honor for him to get to remember our dear friend!! We were going to go out of town on Wed. to go visit Joe's grandma and then go by his folks to pick up a washer and dryer since our washer quit working about a week and a half ago. We were getting ready to leave on Wed. and another dear lady in our church went home to be with the Lord. So needless to say plans were tossed up in the air and not sure what to do. We were going to go spend one night in a hotel with our kiddos and go swimming, they were so excited. I cancelled that reservation and the kids were heartbroken. We decided that we really needed some family time, so we packed a bag and went to Amarillo to spend the night at a hotel. Well, we checked in and then went to eat and run a couple of errands, when we got back we all got our swimming suits on and then they told us the pool was closed for repair. Wow, our kid's have had to huge heartbreaks in one day!! They were crushed. We ended up just having some great snacks in our room and great family togetherness time. Sometimes life throws us some unexpected things, but even when it does there is one thing that is constant and never changes and that is Christ in our lives and in our family. We thank Him for the many opportunities that we do have, and even in the disappointments there is always something to be Thankful for. We love just being able to spend quality time with our kid's. We continue to look forward to the day that we can spend that time with our new little one's that we are longing to meet. May we always remember our blessed we are and be thankful for what we have and the things that we get to do.

A Heartfelt Blessing
I just wanted to share what a heartfelt blessing we received yesterday at church. A special couple in our church handed Joe and envelope. When we got home we opened it and there was a special note, a magazine subscription invoice and a gift. The note read something like this..."Your adoption is more important than adding a magazine to my already ample collection! Mr. ___ suggested and additional __gift." Wow, this gift was truly a heartfelt gift, they decided instead of subscribing to another magazine to give us a gift for our adoption. What a blessing, we are very touched by the love and care from this wonderful couple. We always tell people that God is going to provide, but when He impresses on people to put others first before themselves it is awesome!! I will put this great little note in our little ones scrapbook so they can see how this couple along with many, many others love and care for them, too!!
We are praying for some friends that we have met through Gladney they are waiting on a piece of paper to be signed in order to pass court and be able to bring their girls home. Please continue to pray for the courts in Ethiopia that things will go smooth for many families ready to bring their children home.
We continue to wait, but I am really praying for the health and safety of our little one(s). They are going through as much waiting for their new family as we are for them to be home with us. God is Good and His timing is Perfect!!!!

I have been trying to keep busy. Time goes by a lot faster when I keep busy. I would like to get caught up on scrapbooks, but that has not happened yet. I guess that means that I have had plenty of other things keeping me busy. I am working on Easter dresses for the girls, so that has been fun! Hopefully I will get them done over the next couple of weeks. We continue to wait and try to plan ahead and get organized as much as we can at this moment in time. Well, signing off for now. God is Good, All the Time!!!!!
